Marketing Social Media Content Specialist

Scojet is a product design, precision machining and international manufacturing company.

As our marketing and social media specialist you will plan, shoot, edit and publish the story of how things get made. You own the whole path: idea, storyboard, shoot, edit, publish, and the performance readout that tells you what to do next. You will work alongside our engineering and manufacturing teams daily, capturing rapid prototyping, 3, 4 and 5-axis machining and mill-turn work, and engineering simulation.

Our company is different, instead of having management or HR write a job description our team worked together to give you direct insight into the job.

You will never lack for b-roll. Most content jobs are about making ordinary things look interesting. Here a laser fuses metal powder into a finished part, a five-axis machine cuts geometry you cannot make any other way, and a simulation shows plastic filling a mold. The hard part is not finding something worth filming. It is choosing.

When you are part of the Scojet Team you are joining a company with a reputation for executing difficult and exciting projects from conception through commercialization with fast development cycles that allow you to see results in weeks or months. Projects run across automotive, agriculture, aerospace, outdoor power equipment, powersports, medical and consumer products, so the subject matter changes constantly.

Your work feeds every channel we have: social, sales and marketing material, email campaigns, internal documentation and our podcast. This role is open to experienced content creators and to people just out of a marketing, communications, film or media program. Bring the craft to light a scene, hold focus and record clean audio; the rest we can teach.

Scojet is a global company, there is potential for international travel if desired.

Compensation: $58,000 – $72,000 based on experience. Moving expenses reimbursed up to $5,000 with receipts.
