Ingeniero Industrial
Brunswick,

Scojet is a product design, precision machining and international manufacturing company, certified to ISO 9001 and AS9100.
As a manufacturing engineer you will own how parts get made on our Brunswick floor: CNC programming, setup and proveout, fabrication, inspection, and the quality system that holds it all together. You will program and prove out work on 4-axis machining centers and 5-axis mill-turn machines, run laser cutting and press brake work, and decide whether a part is good enough to ship.
Our company is different, instead of having management or HR write a job description our team worked together to give you direct insight into the job.
The designer is twenty feet away. Scojet designs the products it manufactures. When a part is awkward to hold, expensive to cut or impossible to inspect, you do not file a concession and wait. You walk over to the engineer who drew it and get the geometry changed.
When you are part of the Scojet Team you are joining a company with a reputation for executing difficult and exciting projects from conception through commercialization with fast development cycles that allow you to see results in weeks or months. Because our work spans prototype through production, you are not programming the same family of parts every week.
We will train you on SolidCam and its milling, turning, multi-axis and probing modules. This role is open to experienced shop hands and to people just out of a machining or manufacturing technology program. Bring a feel for how metal behaves and the discipline to measure it; the rest we can teach.
At Scojet we like to challenge ourselves and solve difficult problems with unique and inventive solutions, we try to balance work pressure versus reward, do you want to feel a sense of contribution and accomplishment at the end of the day?
We are looking for Team members that like to be challenged everyday not just on projects but learning new tools, techniques, software, and equipment, people who look forward to continuous training and education to be experts in their field.
Do you want to work with the latest machine tools, CAM software, metrology and prototyping equipment? Do you want the right balance of programming at a workstation and hands on work at the machine?
You get the opportunity to take ownership and be involved in every stage of the process, at the same time we are a team that likes to communicate and collaborate, sharing our knowledge and growing as a collective.
Scojet believes in investing in the future of our Team, currently we cover 100% of employee health care insurance including dental and optical plans, a $25,000 life insurance policy, 401k with 100% matching on the first 3% and 50% on the next 3%, 8 paid holidays and 2 weeks paid vacation, paid training and education classes including SolidCam training.
Scojet is a global company, there is potential for international travel if desired.
Compensation: $65,000 – $90,000 based on experience. Moving expenses reimbursed up to $5,000 with receipts.
We are looking for passionate people, the kind that wakes up everyday excited about going to work and amazed you get paid to do it.
Skills can be taught but passion cannot.
